Cons
* The STERIS Quality Analytics department (specifically, AST) is heavily micromanaged. The manager requires updates several times a day, insists that you copy her on every email, and focuses feedback primarily on minor, easily-corrected errors.
* Positive feedback is almost completely absent.
* Training is almost 100% self-taught, including heavy technical skills such as using Tableau. When I struggled to figure out how to perform new tasks using this software, I was told to re-watch training videos, or I was told to schedule a meeting with the busy IT/BI Director from another department. Minimal help was available from within the department.
* Rough draft level work is expected to be perfect.
* Asking questions that challenge the status quo is discouraged. There is no room for discussion of alternative data interpretation.
