Pros

Quarterly Bonuses are great. The owner/CEO is a great guy. Really is trying to run a top notch program.

Cons

This company is not good, if you are a minority. There is no elevation at the same pace there is for Caucasian counterparts. Most importantly, there was just blatant disrespect for the minority employees in the Arlington office, from the SECURITY leadership. Like I told the owner when I abruptly resigned because of the mistreatment, “you are a great guy, and this is a great place to work, IF YOU ARE NOT A MINORITY!” Since leaving, I have had one employee call the security guard force and tell them essentially I am a threat, and proceed without caution. I have had my social media stalked by my former supervisor. Amongst other things. Good company, but again, minority candidates, please proceed with caution.

Pros

Coworkers are all very smart but still down-to-earth and supportive. Project managers encourage employees to get involved in projects they’re interested in and are willing to accommodate WFH and flexible schedules wherever possible. There are a good amount of opportunities to socialize with coworkers and get involved in interest groups and clubs. Also free snacks!

Cons

Be prepared to deal with some lack of direction while you wait for your clearance to come through. Prospective interns should ask about unclassified tasks in the interview. Projects occasionally have people working extra hours but most employees tend to take extra time off the next week to compensate for this.
