Big impact, unfortunate turn of events - Director SUNTECH AMERICA Employee Review

Great company and great people. I was able to contribute and help make improvements more than is possible at other companies.

Company went into bankruptcy, so it was a great place to work until it went into financial trouble.

Free nuts in the kitchen. Convenient location near mass transit.

Misrepresentation of roles, responsibilities and upward mobility (good people often enticed to leave stable jobs relying on misrepresentations) Inexperienced, arrogant CEO in China. Vision for company seems to change every other month. Inexperienced, incompetent and/or unstable management in many departments (not all, but most). Complete lack of accountability of management. Understaffed at every level. Politics pervasive at every level. Constant employee turnover. Lack of job security. Horrible employee morale here. Quarterly (seriously) reviews for employees (except anyone in a management role, they have carte blanche). Incredibly cheap (how about bringing in lunch for mandatory all-hands meetings once in a while?)
