Pros

Asked before being placed on duties. Promotions based on interest and experience - you can always say not interested. Working with pets is great. Hourly pay considers mileage. Local management team. Great control of customer's security and safety.

Cons

Long hours but what job isn't if you want to make good money. Accept or decline assignments is based on available co-workers. Interview process should be tougher to weed out whiny co-workers who think they're entitled and have no experience in different areas.

Pros

-Work with animals -Great exercise -Learn a lot about pet behavior, breeds, etc.

Cons

-Only get paid for the 15-30 minutes you are providing service -Get a mileage "reimbursement" -Most will get a "salary" of $100/wk for 40+ extra hours of work including social media management and taking phone calls from customers at all hours of the day and night -2 hour meetings everyday over video conference -Verbal abuse from management -Highly manipulative tactics to get employees to stay and take low pay -Elaborate lies about company being part of an unnamed larger company based in Chicago -No access to an HR, payroll, or other common department besides e-mail, which is monitored and answered by one person -Often asked to work at grooming salon owned by company -No days off during the week unless asked for, and must be minimal (they will say it's not their fault, but based on the needs of the customers)
