Pros
They advertise a lot of perks. Free food, nice office space, however these perks don’t mean much if they don’t treat their employees well. The ratings were pretty low on glassdoor. After removing all the negative reviews and some senior leaders themselves writing these overly positive reviews since hiring is a problem currently. So I wouldn’t believe these reviews but talk to people in the company to know the actual situation. There are much better companies imho. The culture was great 3 years back, sadly it isn’t what it used to be. It is pretty toxic.
Cons
The pay isn’t as per market, well below the market. Most of engineering has left the company due to this being a major factor. They are trying to fix the problem now but it still isn’t worth it. When you join here you are made to feel like the culture is great and there is no hierarchy, this is not the case. Few big egos make all the decisions and you want to stick around and not get fired, you have to accept this and stay quiet. People to speak are seen as trouble makers. These overly positive reviews on glassdoor feel like a joke. They have no flexible work environment. Micromanaging is the norm at all the levels. In fact even if you take a coffee break, you are questioned. They do not support WFH. Career progression is non-existent. Management has no direction, they always try to be overly excited about stupid features that make no impact and you have to fake giving into the excitement or else you are not “motivated”or “engaged”. They start projects and change the course of the roadmap in no time. One of the reviews says people aren’t looking for jobs..the truth is almost 25 engineers have resigned since a last couple of months. New hires are sold the dream, and they are also the ones writing all these great reviews. Some people are unfairly put on performance plans which has even caused health issues for few employees. But the management dosn’t care! I would not recommend this company to anyone
