Pros

Nothing good about this company.

Cons

Horrible! I never thought I would be writing a review for this company. I simply can’t keep my mouth shut about this. This company tends to hire their employees at a certain rate and later lower it ( 3 weeks after being hired). Additionally, they give you more work to do after they lower your pay rate. FYI SSG, this is offensive, disrespectful and won’t make the company save money. How can you expect more from someone after you lower his pay rate? It’s common sense. The owner of this company doesn’t give $&!t about his employees. He will do anything he can do legally to screw you over so his company can stay in business for another month.

Pros

None. During 10 active years on the workforce, this is the only job I have ever quit first day.

Cons

Safeway Services Gro-up Inc. is incompetent at best and criminal at worst. Safeway hired me at $17/hr starting for a position as Parking Lot Lead. This was to be an 8 hour a day in-person role where I would clock on and off of payroll, which can only be accessed on-site. I was happy with this agreement. On the first day, my assigned job duties were drastically different than the job I’d applied for. A bulk of my work was to be done from home on a laptop at strange hours of the night. I did not have a laptop handy, something the CEO informed me was “essential for the job”, but strangely never mentioned in the hiring process. I would not be paid for these at home hours. The CEO then decides to share with us two Team Leads, in the most casually manipulative tone, “There was some confusion, and rather than $17/hr we can only offer you $14/hr. But that’s fine with you, right?”. They knew about the pay error before we came to work that day, they simply waited an hour to ease us in so we’d be caught off guard and more likely to let ourselves be taken advantage of. Despite violating the terms of their own hiring contract multiple times within several hours on the first day, they continue to harass me with demeaning calls, emails and texts. Stay as far away as possible, “Scamway” is more fitting.
