Pros
Great place to get your foot in the door after college. A lot of opportunity to move up quickly and work on a lot of different aspects of an account. Standing desks
Cons
Very poor management. From the top down, Sage refuses to adapt to the rapidly evolving landscape of the communications industry. They are behind on many policies most competing agencies already implement. Such as telework, which only directors are allowed to do. There are no official policies in writing, and the employee handbook has not been updated in 5+ years. The lack of official policies caused much confusion and anger among much of the younger staff. When the staff would approach senior level management with concerns and suggestions, they were often met with denial, arguments and excuses, and in turn, no change. The management lacks training and resources to properly guide their teams and lower level employees to do their jobs well. So much so, that many lower level employees choose to leave after short amounts of time because the burnout rate is too high and the compensation/benefits are not enough to make them stay.
