Pros

Great people. Great company to start working for. Easy to learn. Not too stressful but can be at times or when training. Training is minimal and must learn on own by asking questions. Must be able to multitask.

Cons

The pay is really low, lower than most companies in the industry. Not much room to move up. Upper management are really nice and great people and don't micro manage... but would rather let good employees go instead of giving them raises and then hire new, less experienced people to pay them less. No bonuses. Bad healthcare.

Sager Electrical Response

Thank you for taking the time to write your thoughtful and thorough response. We realized that our training program needed to be enhanced so in addition to our corporate week long training for new hires, we invested in an on-line learning software solution for sales training. Sager pay plans and benefits are reviewed annually to the external market and we find that our compensation and benefits, although not above average, are fair. Sager is proud to be a solid, stable company that is part of the Berkshire Hathaway family of companies. Sager is also proud of the longevity of many of our employees with 15, 20, 25 years of longevity – all the way up to 50 years with Sager! We promote from within whenever possible. It allows for a seamless transition since internal employees know the systems, people and culture. We encourage our employees to apply, learn and grow within Sager.

Pros

Great People. IT, HR, Sales, and some directors were great to work with.

Cons

Warehouse Supervisors need leadership training. I have never seen supervisors speak or behave inappropriately for so long without it getting adressed or corrected. No opportunity for growth and development.
