Pros
- Stimulating work due to large clients with never ending projects.
- Related to the above is project work upgrading core infrastructure components to the latest versions as well as implementing new technologies, which keeps things interesting and keeps my skill set up to date.
- Great team to work with. The environment is one of professionalism while being light hearted and enjoyable. You never feel as if you are going it alone, and the truly open door policy with management is appreciated.
- Physical office space and offices are nice, with high end furniture, and workstation setups.
- Even though this is a small company, the opportunities for growth and improvement are readily available, and really only limited by your own desire and motivation.
- Highly competitive compensation.
Cons
- Small company currently. This can be good and bad. Great for someone who does not need much direction or oversight from management. Not so good if you require much of that.
- After hours on-call with some clients. This is standard in the industry if your clients are 24x7 shops. Becomes less intrusive to your life as the employee count rises.
- You may or may not fit into tight knit group, and the fast pace.
