7yI am sorry about your experience at Salamander Resort & Spa. Like you, I have been working at this resort for 3 plus years, and in no time have I witnessed top management uninterested in achieving our goals, namely to achieve the coveted 5 Star rating by Forbes. This consumes top management on a regular basis. Sometimes, based on the volume of work top leaders have on their plate, it may convey less focus at times, but top management here is focused daily on achieving 5 Star for the company, the employees, and our owner. It is unfortunate you felt your manager(s) did not listen to your suggestions. I can assure you that is not the standard at SRS. Annually we distribute an Engagement Survey seeking opinions and feedback from our employees and many of their suggestions have been implemented (as we have highlighted in our regular "Town Halls"). Again sorry for your experience.
