Pros

A lot of GOOD people with good attitudes. I really did enjoy the people and the position I had there. Very nice office and a good environment. Great restaurant downstairs from the office! :) Very large server room with lots of room for equipment and good cooling.

Cons

Radio industry is very frugal with salaries. Corporate people were a pain to get money out of for necessary purchases. The GM is too nice of a guy to be a solid leader. They really need to show support to their employees and show them they are appreciated, ie... $$$. don't be so frugal with off-air and non-sales people's salaries.

Pros

Great team, supportive managers!Working at Salem Media Group has been a truly positive experience. The team is professional, supportive, and collaborative. I’ve been given real opportunities to grow in media strategy, client management, and multi-channel marketing. It’s a place where people genuinely care about the work we do and about each other. I’m grateful to be part of this team.

Cons

Honestly, nothing comes to mind right now. My experience has been very positive so far.

Pros

Great supportive local environment, people called to work there to support the mission.

Cons

Corporate digital leadership is disjointed and systems are chaotic. Actual delivered campaigns are inevitably flawed and mis managed. Retaliatory, narcisstic, abusive corporate digital leadership. Constant systems changes and zero assistance in navigating. More and more digital agency and other jobs outsourced to Asia. Salespeople are exhausted and burned out by programs failing. Zero accountability taken by Ad Ops team for mistakes or extrene lag time in responses from internal automated systems. Salary cuts to 'help the company' plays on the mission minded employees, taking advantage of employees good intentions by underpaying them compared to industry. No 401K match.
