Pros

For the most part, your co-workers are pretty stellar. Great office space Fully stocked kitchen and weekly lunches. Standing desks are nice. Great place to start out if you are looking for a place to grow and learn.

Cons

The pay was super underwhelming. Bonus' were never hit because they were constantly changing, regardless of how well you were performing. Leadership is seriously lacking. Most decisions are made without the input of the team. There were about 3 people making the decisions for the entire company which lead to awful releases. After these terrible releases (yes, happened multiple times), none of the leadership would own up to it and take responsibility. These caused cancellations which would effect our bonus. This is what ultimately caused me to leave the company.

Thank you for offering your experience. Managing the physical environment of the office is definitely a focus for us, and we want to ensure it is great for everyone! Some of our team members’ compensation plans have bonuses attached to them. As a growing company, policy changes do happen and will continue to happen. We always adjust policies in a data-guided method that considers Employees on target earnings. As you indicated, unexpected issues like bad releases can impact certain Employees’ ability to perform their role in a manner that allows them to maximize bonuses. That's frustrating for everyone and unacceptable. SalesRabbit has had some difficult releases historically. We’re continually improving operating procedures to stabilize all aspects of operating practices, especially release methodology. SalesRabbit has been moving towards more responsive development practices so the code is not pent up-- this leads to smaller, faster releases. Historically, this approach has been challenged by some of the engineering team who are no longer at SalesRabbit. Additionally, controlled release schedules are selectively offered after extensive proven beta periods. I'm curious to understand how leadership didn’t meet your expectations. Please email me at feedback@salesrabbit.com. We’ve been very intentional with creating forums for input with dedicated Slack channels that are specific to topics, departments, releases, etc. We also do regular surveys, monthly all-hands meetings with anonymous Q&A, and 1:1s where Employees can ensure their voice is being heard. We deeply value this feedback and use it as guidance daily in managing the business. Employees are regularly invited and welcomed to book meetings with management. For example, I have a bi-monthly 30-minute recurring career development meeting with an Employee in our customer support department, and last week the CEO did one as well. We love these experiences and are always open to more.

The CSM team is great! Everyone worked well together and helped each other out.

Cons

Leadership was a little different. Not very motivating. I heard that has been addressed.
