Pros
-Cool and hip work environment (start up feel), tons of snacks, beers, and happy hours.
-They will help provide access to enterprise tools for anyone just getting out of college... they even hire people without degrees [read into that however you feel].
-They have some fairly okay health benefits but that's it.
Cons
-Product has TONS of issues and is a laughing stock of the employee base.
-Company is constantly bleeding any real talent and actively seeking a buyout masked under the guise of 'series x funding'.
-The average retention rate is 2 years or less according to LinkedIn because real talent is always UNDERPAID and therefore poached.
-Career growth path is stagnant, where they tell you to create your own role and nothing happens/you get more work without much reward.
-If the CEO does not like you, consider your career trajectory stifled and this individual likes to have the ring kissed, so to speak.
-"We wear many hats" is code for doing many people's job, before & after they quit, without pay increase.
-UNLIMITED PTO is quite literally, a lie. Do not fall for it. It's not unlimited. It's a marketing scheme to get applicants. They very carefully manage PTO.
Micromanagement from the top down is an extreme concern. CEO takes personal interest in projects and tasks without any real expertise, insight or purpose. Leadership is incredibly weak in terms of providing career growth and a clear path for advancement.
