Pros

Stellar team talent. Flexibility. Work feels impactful. Supportive colleagues, both personally and professionally. Lots of room for growth. Company equity. Help is always only an ask away. Everyone is always willing to jump in and help out, even if it may not be their own "role". Opinions and input are heard and valued. Fast moving, platform always growing and updating for improvements.

Cons

No retirement plan matching. Can be growing pains with startup life: adjusting to frequent changes, working additional hours when needed, etc.

Pros

Working at Salsa has overall been a great experience. One of the most compelling aspects is the opportunity to do impactful work—the projects I contribute to genuinely make a difference and have a visible effect on the company’s success. I’m surrounded by smart, driven people who challenge me to grow and bring innovative ideas to the table, making every day a learning experience. I also appreciate how much I’m empowered to own my work. There is a strong culture of trust and autonomy, allowing me to take full responsibility for my projects and make meaningful decisions. Additionally, the company genuinely has your back—in times of need, leadership is supportive, understanding, and willing to step in to help. This creates a collaborative and compassionate work environment where employees feel valued both personally and professionally.

Cons

While the work is fulfilling, it does come with long hours, especially during critical project phases. The high standards and fast-paced environment can demand extra time and energy. Another area for improvement is the lack of a clearly defined career path. Although there are opportunities to grow, the trajectory for advancement isn’t always clear-cut, which can make long-term career planning within the company a bit challenging.
