Pros
Black owned, woman owned, mostly women
Cons
Its a lot to share but overall my advice don't work here. As a manager I was task to do immoral and unethical and I believe quite a few things were illegal by the CEO of the company. It was a type of throw a stone and hide your hand. He could claim I acted alone when it was always done on his behest. Between the constant back stabbing and constant laughing in your face thing talking extremely badly about a person as soon as they leave was always disgusting. The owner and her husband are masters at presenting a certain face to the public but are greedy and ruthless. They want as much money as possible by any means necessary no matter the cost to employees mental health or customers pockets. The owner loves to "prove" how great of a leader she is and how she's all about sisterhood, when she will step on anyones neck absolutely ANYONES neck to get money. The culture is extremely toxic ( toxic is putting it nicely) even tho there are some great co-workers but they don't last. In the land of snakes nice people don't stay. Most of management hates each other but acts like they are besties like I just don't understand it. Everything you see about this company is fake from the extremely overpriced plastic jewelry to the owner and her family. And the psycho family at work. I will forever be changed from working here and not in a good way. From the constant back orders and shipping items halfway to customers to customers not being able to receive refunds after waiting MONTHS for items I don't understand how this business hasn't went under. Between the constant turnover constant customer issues that are ignored to greedy selfish owners its basically hell on earth. Long story short just DONT WORK HERE!!! I wish I never did, I was so excited to see a black woman start a business in her house and turn it into something thriving but only 3 months in I knew something wasn't right I wish I had left then, I just didn't know it would get this bad.
