Pros

- Decent pay. - Fully remote. - Some very friendly and genuinely talented people work here. - you get to work on some big brands in the Health and Wellness industry.

Cons

- Annual layoffs. Sometimes bi-annual. Employee turnover is incredibly high. Don’t expect any kind of job security or long lasting career here. Even hard workers and high achievers with zero performance issues who have been with the company for years have been laid off. This is due to the CEOs looking to show profitability while looking for outside investment which has been going on for multiple years with no end in sight. - The CEOs frequently overinflate how well the company is doing. Don't be fooled. The company is not doing well financially and that is evidenced by the severe cost cutting and frequent layoffs. - Low employee morale due to said layoffs. The culture used to be collaborative and very fun but now the majority of people go into work every day afraid to lose their job. Everyone is frustrated, overworked and under appreciated and it shows. - No opportunities for career growth or advancement. - Big companywide push for AI right now which means even more layoffs are coming.

Pros

I love working at Scale Media. The remote setup gives me the freedom to manage my own time and still have a life outside of work — which is rare these days. Leadership genuinely cares about you as a person, not just an employee. I feel trusted, supported, and appreciated here. It’s the kind of place that reminds you good companies do exist.

Cons

Because the team is fully remote, you sometimes miss out on the little in-person moments — but the culture makes it easy to stay connected.

Pros

- I met really talented people that I still connect with today - improved my skill set

Cons

the negative reviews on here are true. not an exaggeration. at all. after the first wave of layoffs, the company was never the same. Dont get me wrong, im aware that a company isnt a "family," but higher ups are ruthless and love a good blame game. I had 5-6+ managers. Why? They couldnt figure out what kind of person they needed and constantly threatened to fire them and/or their team members. I was a victim of a layoff. I don't have ill will towards anyone. I don't feel angry towards them, but they need to figure things out. I waited a long time to write this in an effort to be as impartial as i could be. - no room for growth. want a promotion? nope. they'll hire out for that. - job security? ZERO. they did layoffs like clockwork. seems like its still the case :/ - morale is at an all time low.
