Pros

You’ll probably find yourself with wonderful colleagues, no doubt. And the staff perk of cheap stays are nice.

Cons

- Guest interaction beyond “welcome, here’s your key” is discouraged by management at at least 3 locations where I’ve worked. I’ve been told 5 times not to give advice on spots to visit or to speak the language of the guest. - Management avoid full-time employments and actively under staff shifts to increase profits with no regard for stressed employees. This happens across departments. Waiting time for check-in can go up to 30min for a 3hr period due to only one receptionist being scheduled.
