Pros

Great products and family owned

Cons

Very little training, management is very disconnected from sales reps. Hardly any brand recognition, but expect you to sell all this product when nobody knows your company. Reps have to pay for a lot of stuff, that the company should be paying for like advertising, sponsorships and promotional items. Sales reps should atleast know each other, but in this company its like your not allowed to know any other reps that are close to your area. Not very family friendly.

Pros

They are good company with a rich history.

Cons

they did not care if you succeed or failed. It is commission only they never tried to advance your knowledge and anything besides the basic training that are pre-recorded videos and sending one person down to kind of help you get sales started. The products are way too expensive for most companies. There is no type of compensation besides, you selling their products no gas card no company card nothing it is strictly coming out of your pocket until you make sales. Anyone that knows the oil and gas market knows that lubricants are very tough turnaround due to the fact that when you’re selling a premium product, you want them to buy less and that was the issue. They want the outside sells people to sell products that are way too expensive for the average company, especially in this market. Now I understand that most people are going back. Oh well you just weren’t doing a good job. You weren’t trying hard enough. Yes there are people that do very well at doing this job, but there are some markets like the one that I was in, they were not doing well and we’re not acceptable to the high prices that they have. also, management felt like I was more bothering them than being able to ask questions about simple things I was not taught how to do CRM how to make certain sales how to do certain thing with their system. It was just kind of like you have to figure it out whenever I’d ask something they would give me a couple word answer or tell me something that was wrong.
