Pros
Transparent leadership around financial health, hiring plans, employee well-being surveys (that are taken seriously), values that resonate well with employees, product roadmap (monthly plans and progress meeting) and innovative technology that's positioned well in the market and has a meaningful impact. Leadership will make the hard choices of letting under performers and those who do not live out our values and detract from culture go. This keeps the organization tight knit, employee camaraderie and trust high and ultimately high performing. CEO is well-known and respected in the Search Engine Optimization community. Ignore the negative reviews on Glassdoor, they're thoughtless and offer no insight to the company and CEO. There's no venture capital in the business. Leadership has full sway in direction. This can also be a con however (explained below).
Cons
There's no venture capital in the business. Capital spend is scrutinized and limits how aggressive the business can hire, spend on marketing, etc.
