Pros

Decent Trucks and operating centers

Cons

I've been OTR for over 1 Year, Consistently lied to every weekend for open hrs on pre assignments, missing load info, etc Lots of OTR Drivers sitting on weekends based on fictional work assignments, and next appointment times being shoved out, late in the day on Saturday, very shady with pay just starting out, Not a place for longevity for drivers, after 1 year loads and miles are light, be careful keep track of your pay and watch out for DBL lies! They will stop at nothing to get driver turnover, Why? Because they make money on driver turnover thru there training. One week out of class 90% Of class was gone, But they get federal grant money for everyone they run thru class, Good luck.

We're sorry for your experience. We have an open door policy and always want to hear from our drivers. We hope you reached out and gave your feedback when situations came up like this. Our priority is our drivers and we "hire to retire" and many drivers that have over 10 or 20 plus years with us. Best of luck to you in your future.

Pros

Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

Cons

$12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.

Thank you for your feedback and review. We review pay weekly to make sure it's competitive in the marketplace. We have an open door policy and always want to hear concerns like this from our drivers. Drive safe.
