Pros

They are a very large company with many opportunities to move around within the organization. There are numerous divisions and lateral movement is encouraged.

Cons

They are so segmented and there is a lack of continuity and cohesion between departments. So much time is wasted in meetings because no one seems to take responsibility for decisions, it's all committee consensus. There are very secretive and don't even allow employees to see an organizational chart. You never know who to contact for information and are not given information on associate locations within an organization (you can schedule a meeting and only later will learn that the person is in another state.) Names are listed in alphabetical order, not by job title. Institutional history is closely guarded, so as a new employee, you are required to depend on others to learn about the culture, the accepted norms, etc. Cubes are the norm, and as a manager you could be located next to an entry level hourly employee. There is no privacy at all. I was there 18 months and was moved four times.

Pros

They value safety, equipment is fantastic.

Cons

The work is non-stop and "no" isn't an option.

Pros

Health benefits are decent but no time to use them.

Cons

They don’t take care of their trucks and when they break down and you’re at home they take their time trying to figure out what’s wrong so they don’t have to pay you. I’ve now gone a week without pay because they refused to look at a problem that I brought to their attention with the truck for weeks and now that I’m home and took it to a local place I don’t get pay and now my family has to suffer.
