Promotion isn't based on meritocracy, rather on who you know or if you are connected to the CEO, which is demotivating. With the exception of a favored few, neither the role nor the position will change for years Much of senior management have been there for 20 + years - there is general perception of job protectionism so progression is limited They have initiatives to promote women in the workplace, however a number have been fired from EA/ reception roles, or forced to leave for not fitting in
