Pros

-Beautiful area close to oceans, lakes and forests, -Many nice schools, -Most administrators are supportive, -Majority of families are great and easy to communicate with.

Cons

-Class size and composition at elementary level is becoming disheartening: Unbalanced remedy system highly favours middle and high school, leaving primary classrooms doing the brunt of the parent meetings and plan-making without any extra time to do so. -Vice principals at Elementary are not 1.0 even though they need to be, so VPs get pulled from their classroom or IST/other positions so often it doesn't make sense for them to hold another position due to the lack of continuity. They are highly needed in their role as VP. -Recess Duty/Supervision for teachers

Pros

Good relationship between teachers and admin.

Cons

Limited number of schools so there is not a lot of room for movement or advancement. Education is underfunded in BC.
