Pros

Really great company that treats its employees like human beings. Incredible earning potential. Very genuine leadership that cares about the people who work here. Most of our competitors are extremely high pressure on their sales teams and that translates to shady behaviour - it's still a competitive work environment at Sciton but within reason and with a focus on treating people well. The company is growing incredibly fast right now which is opening up many opportunities for employees.

Cons

Most of the cons stem from growing pains as we are going through massive growth right now. Lots of changing systems means patience is required at times. With that said, massive growth for the company also means massive growth opportunities for those who work here so the pros far outweigh the cons. All things considered, I think the company as a whole is handling our growth very well.

Pros

1. I worked hard during my time at the company and consistently received positive performance feedback. 2. My peers were supportive, and I appreciated the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects. 3. I gained valuable finance experience that will help me in future roles.

Cons

1. After returning from an approved leave of absence, I was unexpectedly terminated, with the explanation that I was “no longer a fit” for the department. This was surprising and disappointing, especially given my positive performance reviews and dedication. 2. Communication around my termination was abrupt and unclear, which added to the emotional difficulty of the situation. 3. In my experience, the current finance management team struggled with transparency and consistent communication. 4. My manager, who had previously provided positive feedback, declined to provide a referral after my departure, which was hurtful and discouraging.
