Pros

They paid me a comfortable base and guaranteed commissions due to there being no lead volume for their incomplete product.

Cons

The CEO and Head Executive are extremely toxic to work with. Ed, the CEO, is an egotistical child to work with. He insulted me numerous times throughout my time there and even said if I were to leave the company neither he nor Gab, the toxic head exec, would ever think about me again. This was after Gab threatened my job for the third time. Ed is too worried about sounding like some visionary, than actually growing a software platform. I wasn't able to do my job during my time there because every time I would talk to a client Ed would just blab on with a feature dump and just tooting his own horn, people can see through his fakeness. These two are extremely out of touch relying on their previous succesful exits and false promeses and what seems to be high pay, but what is high pay if there is no job security whatsoever?

Pros

Preciate is an amazing company to work for if you are looking to learn and grow in an exciting industry. You learn new things everyday from the other people on the team. There is an overall positive company culture and our team is very close considering we are all distributed. The leadership team listens and actively works to make the employee experience better and better. As a remote company, working locations and schedules are entirely flexible which really helps in maintaining a good work/life balance. Unlimited PTO is another pro!

Cons

Be prepared to be resourceful. Preciate is a fast-paced work environment and because it is remote there is not a hold of hand-holding, even with new hires.
