Pros

- Their training program is extensive: they make sure that you have all the information and knowledge you need before you start working with your client. I - The pay is great! - Regular job coaching is very useful. Even though you have to drive to the office for job coaching (you get pay mileage and time for this by the way), job coaching helps me do better at my job. - The job can get you experience you need for your grad school - Supervisors and director are very nice and easy to talk with. You can tell they are passionate about what they are doing.

Cons

- Not always 40 hours per week. However, they do offer training time, which means you can always go to the office and watch video if you want extra hours. Another option is they offer to work on the building preparing for camp.

Pros

Thorough and extensive training for those without relevant experience.

Cons

High emotional and professional demand. High flexibility demanded by employer, little to no flexibility given in return. Advertised as full time but hours required to qualify for health insurance are hardly reachable. High commute time, little to no heads up on massive schedule changes. High turnover rate. Expect long commutes. They literally teach you how to avoid burn out, as in they are fully expecting you to burn out quick.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We're glad you found our training helpful. Building a strong foundation and continued learning is something we value. We meet clients and families where they are and don't require them to fit our schedule or commute to our offices. That means that while much of our schedule is routine and predictable, supporting children and families in crisis does require flexibility. In return, we’re offer one of the most competitive salary and benefits packages in the field. We also provided ongoing training and weekly case coaching. Our goal is to help team members build lasting careers in children’s mental health, and that includes open conversations about burnout. We believe that recognizing and preparing for it is a vital part of long-term success.
