Some of the most amazingly creative and passionate people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. Decent locations across london, because of my role I could work from which ever suited me but made sure was in Shoreditch location mostly. Great discount on food and drinks at La Despensa and Libreria.
Cons
The CEO/Founder is hands down the most vile person I've had the misfortune to work with. If you are unlucky enough to have to interact with him because of your role prepare to be bullied, gaslit and made to feel insignificant. He has absolutely no boundaries and will overstep the line time and time again, either by believing he can do every role at Second Home and dismissing the amazing talent that have been hired to do a role there. He'll test you by questioning your knowledge on things within your industry/role just to see how you react to him and even when you do provide him with the appropriate response and advice he'll dismiss and give his own answer, as if a google search he did is worth more than your years of knowledge. Time and time again he has received terrible feedback that's also been presented to the Board and nothing happens. He's the reason people have been burnt out while working at Second Home, the reason some have developed anxiety. He doesn't care about his employees, not one bit, and if you're in a position to request an initiative to bring some change, it may get signed off but in actuality he is the root of the problem at Second Home, it's him who needs to leave for people to feel relaxed and happy again.
