Pros
I had the best years of my sales career here and their finance team was amazing when I got my commission each month. My $200k base alone was way over my past job’s on target commission which gave me the confidence to leave my current position for this small business startup. After starting and seeing my first years commissions of $350k, I had the biggest paycheck year in my entire career. Their leadership has lots of experience running other past successful businesses and it really shows from our success over the years. I can’t go back working for a big company again after working here because it’s great to see a small business take care of their people by sharing the company profit and the growth of the business together as a team.
Cons
Some may think this is a negative, but leadership is not afraid of letting go of any team members that are not aligned with their vision or any non-performers. If you are successful, you will be surrounded by other like-minded individuals that cannot deal with anyone that is any less. There really isn’t any tolerance for average effort individuals here and you don’t have to spend months with them while they go through performance plans, etc. you’re always surrounded by high performing team members or new ones replacing old positions.
