If you are young, black, or accustomed to working in a healthy work environment, please apply to a place where your professionalism and skills are valued. This, is not that. The company SVW was recently bought by a larger company that reconstructed the in-office work environment meaning that the hierarchy that they had before, had been completely thrown out the window (this is a good thing). HOWEVER, because the employees have been working there for more than 15+ years of their professional lives, they still assume authority over people who they virtually have no power over, and bully them into complying...These are conservative middle aged people who do not like change. They have poor leadership in their executives who will speak to you as if you are insubordinate or not equipped for your position, Beware of the company politics that they will immediately try to push on you. They will make it seem like “things are not that bad” or act as if you are a special case, but if you don’t like something that they do, nothing will work in your benefit. I literally had been working there no more than 2 months and had to call HR twice for harassment and racial slurs by employees. If you dont do things their way, they WILL bully you and make an example out of you.
