The company clearly does not value their employees. Layoffs and turnover is near constant but never discussed. You have to check on Slack and see that someone has been deactivated to know if they have been let go. Company went through two major layoffs in the past year....employees were notified via Slack for a "quick chat" and then immediately lost access to all systems after the call. No accountability from leadership or response regarding the layoffs. Zero consideration for candidates throughout the interview process. Many interviewers got cancelled and continually rescheduled but then are ghosted. Diversity is NONEXISTENT. They claim diversity is key to their culture but have zero company initiatives, ERG groups, or focus on hiring diverse employees. This is evident in the leadership. Have heard horror stories of the CEO speaking to employees like garbage. The interview process is a hot mess. Health insurance premiums are ridiculously expensive. An employee "wellness" day once a month isn't nearly enough to make up for the toxic culture of the company. Many employees don't last more then a year.....which is not a coincidence. If you're thinking of joining SSC I would think long and hard before making the jump. Listen to the reviews on glassdoor and don't believe the fluff reviews from HR and leadership.
