Pros

One of the best things about Seefar is the flexibility. Most of the work is remote, so you can manage your own time as long as you deliver. It’s a huge plus for work-life balance. The mission is meaningful — you feel like the work you do actually matters. Even though the team is spread all over the world, people are supportive and willing to help. Leadership is approachable, and you’re trusted to get the job done without being micromanaged.

Cons

Working remotely isn’t for everyone. You need to be self-motivated and good at managing your own time. Time zones can make scheduling tricky sometimes.

Pros

Early-career professionals are given a lot of responsibility, remote work

Cons

Unethical business practices (including lying about capabilities to donors), low salaries for early/mid-career professionals but not for the directors, staff expected to work a lot of overtime, promotions and rewards based on favoritism. Ask about the Hunger Games - leadership asked staff to VOTE for who would remain and who would be laid off. Very dystopian, left many former staff with PTSD. Just one example of the terrible culture. There used to be a lot more negative Glassdoor reviews but the org has apparently paid to have them removed.
