Pros
The two stars is because it honestly used to be an amazing company to work for. The money was great, the atmosphere was great, everyone enjoyed coming to work and it felt like the owners genuinely cared and ‘we were all in it together to build something.’ It was without doubt the best company to work for in Reading.
Cons
Everything said above no longer exists unfortunately. It’s a shell of its former self as a business. Salary is down every year due to the introduction of very confusing and unachievable KPI’s (they also fluctuate throughout the year) depending on the month. The culture gets worse day by day due to strange decision being made from the newly formed and newly hired senior management team. They have lost about 20% of the sales staff this year and honestly that number will be closer to 30%-40% within a few months. Would I recommend Select to family and friends as a place to work.. not anymore. It’s sad to say that remembering how good it once was but that business simply is not there any more.
