Pros

1. Senior leadership get decent bonuses, but you'll be unreasonably overloaded to earn that bonus. Anyone that does not qualify for a bonus, beware that you're working hard to make others 'rich'! 2. Leadership are trying to make processes, products, and services better for clients. This is positive. 3. Depending which team you land up in, there are some clusters of cohesive team working.

Cons

1. At the most senior level, this company DOES NOT care about their employees. You are nothing more than a number. At important career and life milestones, where teams and companies would normally celebrate with you, they do nothing to acknowledge you. I've never seen anything like it, it's horrible. 2. The turnover in the leadership team, both in the UK and at their Swiss head office, is sky-high. In the past few years the UK has had 3 MDs, 4 or 5 Operations/Service Directors, 4 or 5 Finance Directors, 2 People Directors and 3 big rounds of redundancies so far. This is not a company that is doing well (any profit is because of all the employees that have been sacked which has reduced the payroll bill) and if you're a leader your head is on the chopping block as an excuse for poor performance outside of your control. 3. Diversity is non-existent. Have a look at the CEO's photos on LinkedIn whenever leadership gather. 99% white men. 4. The company tried to go for an IPO a few years ago and failed. There is still an agenda to sell the company and so the next few years will be fully focussed on that, on further cutting costs, on exploiting employees to maximise profit so those at the top can line their pockets. Honestly, there are much better places to work. Unless you're desperate and Selecta is your only option take your time to look elsewhere.

Pros

Got a lot of hands on experience working autonomously. Everyone in the department was also very friendly and helpful.

Cons

My internship duration was somewhat short which caused me to work on several projects that I did not get to see to completion.

Pros

Hybrid and working from home

Cons

Holiday, pension, death in service. They’re about all the benefits you get. No sick pay. No Xmas celebrations. No Easter celebration. Quick exit redundancy. Pay average. No incentives. No overtime. If you work over there’s no extra pay or option to take as holiday. Heavy workload. Lack of support from management. Training via teams and limited. Not very friendly. In my opinion it’s a company stripped to a skeleton staff and in trouble financially in the UK
