Good benefits, Flexible schedule, and Fun work environment

Poor management and renovatioins desperately needed

If you are a massage therapist in the Augusta area, and don't have your own clientele, this is one of your better options. The hotel provides clients and spa provides all equipment and supplies. This is very rare, especially in central Maine. The facilities are also very nice.

While there are busier periods (weekends, especially long weekends, and holidays), the client flow is not consistent. I did very well working weekends during the summer and fall but had a hard time making it through the winter without other income. During some weekday shifts, you have to be there for the entire shift, even though you might have only one or no clients. This is better as a part-time or second job, and not reliable enough to be your only source of income.
