Pros

There are no Pros for this company.

Cons

Micromanaged. Sweat shop. Don:t work here. I have been a aerospace machinist for 38+ years. This is the worst place I have ever worked.

Pros

Decent place to work. Adequate documentation and measuring equipment.

Cons

Location. Although Arlington is "growing" there isn't a lot out there. Maybe that's what you're looking for, but it's a long way from anywhere.

Pros

Good people in most departments, friendly and helpful in most cases. within your department. Reasonable benefits, Med, Dental, Vision, 401k Company match, safety based quarterly bonus. Yearly bonus paid based on entire company performance. Clean and safe environment. manufacturing floor is one of the cleanest shops I have experienced.

Cons

Really bad communication across departments, inconsistent temperature controls in the shop area, no AC, lack of resources or current equipment to be successful or competitive in the current marketplace, serious lack of training or team building exercises, no sense of urgency to change. The lack of an action plan to add equipment, tooling, software, needing to be replaced or upgraded is a serious problem. the lack of action by the management to address the issues have caused employees to loose faith or confidence that it will ever change. Do what you say and say what you do, under promise and over deliver, when those principals get lost in translation, being successful is so much more difficult. Any instructions you are given make sure that you a written record of them. conflicting instructions have to be resolved delicately. It is difficult for older equipment to make state of the art aerospace components. The pressure is on the guys on the floor who are extremely capable.
