Zero flexibility; not understanding of working parents; revenue and sales focused to the point where everyone is replaceable/you will never feel safe; high pressure and stress; zero positive reinforcement - close a big project and no good job, just want to know when you are going to close the next one; head count is too high - lab employees don't have enough projects or work to fill their day; very tense between technical/sales - lab will refuse to help some people if they don't like them; a lot of gossip, rumors, and drama around the building - makes it feel like high school; no accountability to other positions outside of sales; focus on promoting within - which is great - except they promote people who are under-qualified and have just sucked up to upper management; management never moves problems up the chain, so upper management/Paul Manning never really knows what is going wrong
It has been life changing to leave Sensient. I wouldn't wish this place on my biggest enemy!
