Pros

You get to see the impact of your work there. Leadership gave a lot of autonomy to solve problems, and new ideas didn’t fall on deaf ears, they often got implemented with time. They were clearly growing and profitable, which was new for me. There was a lot of opportunities to take on new responsibilities and work outside of your comfort zone . New senior leadership team came on within the last year. Things got more structured and in order.

Cons

A lot of processes still needed fixing, so you had to be comfortable with change and ambiguity. Some people like fixing things, but worth knowing.

Pros

As an intern, I was given clear guidance on work to be done and was never rushed or told my work wasn't anything but good!

Cons

Genuinely have no cons or anything negative to say.

Pros

No one cares if you show up to work nor if you do it on time. You can watch Facebook videos during work hours but don't let management catch you. You get weekends off.

Cons

Company is a fractured and is run as such. The company is less than 50 employees but is always hiring more mangers to manage them. It's gotten to the point where there are only two people per department but each department has a vice president. All projects are delayed because people are lazy and use other departments as excuses for not getting the work done. This leads to constant delays for customers, faulty products and poor employee moral. The company is a revolving door with 2 CEOs gone within the last 5 years, 2 CFOs gone within 3 years and 1 Director who was forced into early retirement. There is no HR at this company, if you have any concerns they will be ignored. Management does not listen to employees and is not accountable for their roles. They will throw you under the bus even though it is their responsibility for how the work will get done not the employees. There is no one to report this behavior to and so no one is ever brought to account. In any normal company many of these behaviors would get anyone fired but anything goes here. There is also constant gossip among coworkers and everyone watches Facebook videos when no one is looking.
