Pros
The only positive working for Indiana MENTOR was knowing you were helping people and making a difference.
Cons
This company pays very little to begin with, and does not offer merit-based raises. In the years I was with the company, there was one across-the-board 3% increase in salaries in my division. Morale was always low, turnover was extremely high, and thus, there was no real organizational structure or adequate supervision/management. Supervisors and managers would quit after a few months. This is due in part to upper management. Very poor leadership. Company structure was very sales-oriented for a social services company. Employees were working there to help people, not to help the company turn profit. Outdated office space, technology, lack of IT and proper software.
