Pros

Produce a great product, and very cutting edge!

Cons

Lots of reports, expense reports, tracking via device on car which they use for tracking/verifying mileage and coverage of field. General feeling from corporate office is no respect for field sales staff, does not seem to value sales staff or their input. Require that you pay for your client entertainment expenses out of own pocket (a lot of them), then wait to get paid back. Lots of paperwork, lots of responsibilities for maintaining lab relationships; pay is below average for field sales. Culture of mistrusting that reps are doing their job. Not much "day in the life" understanding of daily duties of field sales staff. Leadership and direction from the top does not get filtered down on a timely basis. Products are sold to competitive businesses, which takes away from field sales commissions.

Pros

Benefits package is great, really good optical coverage as well.

Cons

Not much room to advance unless you want to do sales.

Pros

Employee benefits, cameraderie amongst coworkers, small company so able to get to know C Suite execs

Cons

Outdated processes because work is siloed and departments use methods to solely satisfy dept needs despite affecting others like sales or accounting; low pay compared to the market amongst all departments; Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky hanky panky at the home office is the norm.
