Pros
Where I worked previously for many years, I thought that was way that all companies were... However, since joining Shaping Cloud I have seen a very different side to this. The culture here is amazing, from the top down too, which in itself is very refreshing. It is transparent, inclusive and you truly feel valued for the work that you do, which in turn drives you to learn more and perform better; and you get rewarded for that, with High 5 shoutouts each week and Shaper/Employee of the Month awards and gifts.
Each month there are work socials - many being remote, over MS Teams due to the pandemic - these are packed with fun things to do - lately we dressed up for Halloween and cooked s'mores, which the company sent out to us - they regularly send out gifts each month :)
Also each month, they present how the company is growing, so you get to see and understand the direction it is going in and what they are trying to do to make it better, not just for the company, but for its employees.
They really know how to look after their employees and have an excellent work, life balance - being very flexible to fit in any life/home commitments. You really do feel part of something good as everyone is pulling in the same direction, trying to make it an even better place to be.
