Pros

I started at S&C as a Graduate back in 2019 and grew with the business to a Manager, It was a pleasure to be within an organisation that is still today a supportive, flexible and generous environment where they treat their employees as humans and not a number. Management listened to their team and ensured to build a relationship based culture where everyday coming to work was fun and employees were rewarded and recognised for their hard work through commission and team (as well as wider business) incentives.

Cons

As the business grew by hiring new members, the commission structure (or how splits were viewed) did increase the number of conversations to be had. However, this never affected the culture of the business.

Pros

Despite some of the negative reviews online, my own experience at Sharp & Carter has been exceptional. I was always supported, valued and trusted by management and treated as a person, not just an employee. The culture is a standout - you are surrounded by colleagues who celebrate your wins, help you through challenges and genuinely want you to thrive. Professional development is a focus, with clear pathways, ongoing training and leaders who actively coach and mentor. Most importantly, the business truly lives its values. The focus on people is not just a slogan, its reflected in everyday interactions, decisions and the way the business operates. This was my best job by far in my long career and I cannot recommend them more highly.

Cons

Yes, mistakes have been made in the past - that's part of being human, especially in a fast-growing business. What stands out is the way management acknowledges those challenges and works hard to improve. It's a sign of a healthy, evolving organisation.
