Pros
Store is clean and well-organized
Cons
It is the culture at this store to not give lunch breaks. I have a medical condition and can not go seven hours without eating, nor should I have to as I'm legally entitled to a lunch break. Yesterday, I submitted a complaint with the Massachusetts Department of Labor. I have been kicking up a fuss online (most employees are minors, seniors, and people with cognitive diabilities; I want someone to protect them), and someone from the company-Dawn-responded to one of my posts. She basically said I was lying. The store also does not allow cashiers to keep water at the register. I realize that isn't illegal, but it should be. Health professionals recommend drinking several cups of water an hour, which is not possible if you only have access to water on breaks. In my case, I worked six and a half hours and had one fifteen minute break. That gave me one opportunity to drink water in that six and half hour period. And this company has a whole video about avoiding heat sickness.....They sent me out to collect carts in 95 degree weather, after which I had no opportunity to drink water for hours. When I pointed this out to the company, Dawn brushed me off with a flippant "cashiers certianly have access to water on their breaks."
