      Pros

      Some of the pros of working for shiftsmart is variety in job opportunities. I have contracted as a retail merchandiser, legal intake specialist, and remote csr. In addition to the variety of opportunities the ability to make my own schedule and adjust it if needed is excellent.

      Cons

      Low pay, $10/hr for my current CSR role and $12-$13 for other roles or incentive shifts.

      This company is misclassifying its Shiftsmart workers as Independent Contractors and is currently being sued in California. Colorado to follow soon.

      This company is misclassifying its Shiftsmart workers as Independent Contractors and is currently being sued in California. The company made $95 million in profit last year because they did not pay overtime, employment taxes, workers comp dues, and social security taxes. THEY DO NOT ALLOW ANY WORKERS TO CONTACT A REAL PERSON WHEN SHIFT ISSUES OCCUR.

      Cons

      They have no support you can get a response from ever. Do not want to pay you when you have worked extra hours. Still have not received my tax forms.
