Free health insurance and benefits, car allowance for sales guys, company phone that can replace your personal one, decent travel allowance, office park where the office is located is nice and has a few nice amenities.
Cons
If you don’t speak Japanese, you’re going to have a very hard time here. Expectation for American workers is to be open to working Japan style hours (8am - 7pm) but it’s never discussed. A lot of managers for just a 12 person office (more than 50% are a type of manager). A lot of busy work and reporting. Antiquated internal systems, no real CRM in place. Inventory management is very old school. Advancement opportunities are highly unlikely unless you’re fluent in Japanese, or are Japanese.
