I love that my job involves connecting people. The tech is innovative and Shindig is one of the leaders in the field. I see opportunity for advancement here - the company is continuously growing.

Nothing out of the ordinary.

I found my current position via craigslist and was pleasantly surprised to learn it was a genuine company. Although I work from home PT as a contractor, I feel like a valuable part of the company. A few weeks after becoming a contractor for the organization, I stumbled upon the reviews on Glassdoor. At first I was concerned, but interactions with my co-workers are always professional. I've been with the company for almost 6 months now and I, personally, have never experienced questionable behavior or had negative interactions with the CEO or anyone for that matter. I am paid on time and they have accommodated my needs. In my time short time here, I have seen the platform improve significantly and hear of additional improvements to come. I’m excited to be part of the Shindig team as Shindig becomes the high quality brand it has the potential to be. We are a talented group eager to move the company forward.

As a start-up, there are always challenges to overcome and changes are a part of the process. Being a remote contractor, it can be difficult to stay current on these changes and get that information timely (i.e. events getting moved with little notice, etc.). I started this position with the goal of becoming a FT member of the team, while that hasn’t hasn't happened just yet, my hours have increased and I have increased responsibilities.
