Could pay more for the area

There are some great people. Great location. Many volunteer opportunities. They feed us on a regular basis. Free drinks and snacks. Good benefit options.

There are a few people who work from home weekly, or leave early/come in late multiple times a week. Yet, this is not an option for most of us. Lack of open communication. Recently, a new employee just disappeared with no explanation. I felt this new hire was doing a great job and suddenly they were gone. I highly doubt they quit. Very disappointed in whoever made this decision. I’m guessing poor leadership and lack of actual training (but we can’t blame leadership, right?!) Training is a fly by the seat of your pants. There are a few people managing teams that seem to lack leadership skills - no real growth path - no honest feedback - performance is evaluated but complete lack of thorough training.
