Pros
Great with other customer service colleagues, the cs team supports each other. Relaxed clothing standards. Have your own dedicated cubicle space, you can put what you want on your walls.
Cons
Yearly salary increase was very slow. Their salary was a lot lower than industry standard when it comes to call centers. They offered a bonus based on performance, but it was unsure how much you got or if you even got it. We used to have Christmas bonuses, they took that away, CEO didn't think that giving something back to their really hard working employees mattered (especially when black Friday was crazy! Wow, you don't feel appreciated, you're just a number). All the other employees who are not in customer service are Chinese, it's night and day who was customer service and who is not. Most were fine and polite, some were great, but some of the higher-ups seemed to have always somewhat looked down upon cs, as if looking down at peasants. Also, some had really bad hygienic manners, wow... Also, location was not ideal, really hard to get to with public transit, especially in winter. This job might be fine for someone starting off, but I don't see why a good customer service agent would stay there more than 2 years. You don't feel valued, there's better elsewhere.
