Pros
The students. I had some rough patches with some of my freshman bio, but in general they were great. Very respectful and went either way to make the professors feel at home and welcome.
Cons
Administration is less than wonderful. I was laid off, and they weren't even going to tell me until the end of the semester (after all the jobs in the other universities have already been filled for the fall). I was lucky enough to have a very good friend as a supervisor, another professor, who let me know as soon as he knew in January, so that I could look for a job. Another thing that is shameful about administration is the pay. When you get a job there, you're told that the lower pay received is part of your service to the Lord. However, I looked at the public record of the salaries for the executive admin, and they had been giving each other raises every year, and it was 6 digit salaries. For so-called Christian school, it's very hypocritical. I did not get one raise the whole time I was there.
