Pros
I worked with Sigmoidal for over four years, and overall, my experience was truly great. I left about a year ago to take a break after over 12 years in the industry. Some key thoughts:
* The most talented and experienced team I’ve ever worked with.
* The projects were genuinely challenging and required creative problem-solving but were extremely rewarding.
* I worked on 2 separate projects, both allowing me to use the most advanced tech stack and tools available.
* After 3 years when the first project ended, I was smoothly transferred to another one where my exact expertise was needed - great continuity.
* While some projects required me to learn new technologies, Sigmoidal was always supportive. They monitored my progress but gave me the time to familiarize myself with the technology before expecting performance.
* This was the first company that strongly emphasized the job's consulting aspect, as well as my business understanding of client needs and project impact. At first, it was challenging and outside my comfort zone, but ultimately, it was exciting to gain that new perspective.
