Pros

They lie to everyone about the benefits along with being the best place to work.

Cons

They claim you start with 30 days of PTO, however if you simply test this you will find out it is a lie.

Thank you for your comment - we take all feedback very seriously. Acting with absolute integrity is non-negotiable, is one of our four Core Values, and our January 2026 employee engagement survey topic of "Management is honest and ethical in its business practices" earned an industry-leading score of 93%. If a team member ever has a concern, we have multiple mechanisms in place to provide feedback and/or reach a resolution, including anonymous and attributed feedback loops, regular employee engagement surveys with associated action planning so that we continuously improve, and dedicated Human Resource Business Partners who lean in to support our employees and teams whenever an issue arises. For clarity, Sikich offers Flexible Time Off (FTO) to all full-time exempt and full-time non-exempt employees. While there is no set accrual or limit, employees are encouraged to use time off in a way that balances rest, personal well-being, and client needs. Again, we take all feedback very seriously and encourage any team member to utilize our feedback loops and to talk to their Human Resources Business Partner if they need support.

Pros

- remote work culture that began before covid and has continued - manageable billable hour goals and doesn’t penalize employees for time on the bench between projects - did not do layoffs during government shutdown like some other firms did

Cons

- no formal training plan for new hires or current employees - no automatic COLA adjustments (raises are on merit only) - not a ton of diversity but is improving - multiple recent reorganizations as firm grows (impacts management, little to no impact for staff)

Thank you for sharing your experience, and for the positive observations about our company! We agree it's a great place to work. We encourage you to reach out to your manager to learn more about the training and development opportunities available to all employees, including new hires, through Sikich University. Those courses, along with more information, are also accessible via our intranet site under the LCVista app. Thanks, again!

Pros

Decent place to get Federal audit experience. Good health insurance benefits

Cons

Salary and raises (2% raise for meeting expectations, 3% raises for exceeding expectations). Absolutely awful and doesn't even keep pace with inflation, meaning even after the raises you're financially worse off than the year prior. Principals/Management seems to be disjointed with feedback full of corporate jargon rather than substantive examples and helpful guidance. Pressures to become a Top 10/15 ($1B+ revenue) company seems to have neglected organic growth. Private Equity investment has began to transform pressures from the top down. CEO using the word "family" in regards to the company, when the treatment is anything but how you would treat family.
